It’s not that packing gives me anxiety; it’s the week-long, constant worry of the following: Will a 14-ft Uhaul be large enough for all my shit without having to make a second trip over the GWB? Is it cheaper to drop the Uhaul in NYC or back in NJ? Should I rent a van the day before I move to alleviate some of the stress of my first worry? Do I really need to hold onto four 14x14 boxes of McFarlane, HUSH, and Star Wars Mr. Potato Head figures? (complete collections, near mint, never opened) Why won’t my cats stop puking in the empty moving boxes? Where did I put my Sharpee? I need more boxes. I need more black trash bags. (Repeat 5x)
